Objectives

The course focuses on effectively designing and delivering training using the ADDIE model. We begin by analyzing the learning objectives, target audience, and required knowledge to develop a tailored training program. Participants will then learn step-by-step how to create a lesson plan, using didactic tools such as presentations and practical exercises, to make the training dynamic and interactive.

Additionally, we focus on the essential skills and standards for a trainer, such as communication, adaptability, and ethics. The course will also cover giving and receiving feedback, managing questions, and addressing cultural differences. Finally, self-reflection and continuous improvement of the trainer will be discussed, to ensure ongoing optimization of training quality.

Course content

  • Evaluate and analyze learning objectives, target audience(s), and required knowledge to design a tailored training program;
  • Develop and create a structured lesson plan with various didactic tools such as presentations and practical exercises;
  • Apply essential trainer skills such as effective communication, adaptability, and interactive techniques to facilitate a dynamic learning environment;

  • Describe and reflect on their own development to continuously improve their skills and training.
